Common questions
Things families ask us most.
Is ABA covered by insurance?
Yes. We work with most major insurance providers including Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Optum, and Medicaid. We handle all the paperwork — you focus on your family.
How many hours per week does my child need?
It varies. After our assessment, your BCBA recommends a range based on your child’s age, goals, and what your family can sustain. Most plans start between 10–25 hours/week.
Will therapy happen at home, in a clinic, or both?
Whatever fits your family. We offer in-home, center-based, and hybrid programs. Many families start in-home for comfort, then add clinic time as their child grows.
What's the difference between a BCBA and an RBT?
A BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) designs and oversees the plan. An RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) delivers the day-to-day sessions under the BCBA’s direction. Both are extensively trained.
How long does it take to see results?
Every child is different. Some families notice small wins within weeks; bigger skill-building takes months. We track measurable progress at every step and share it with you in plain language.
Can siblings be involved?
Absolutely. Siblings are often woven into sessions and family training. They’re part of your child’s world — so they’re part of our work, too.
